Our Global CEO Lindsay Pattison has been honoured with the title of Ad Age Woman to Watch, and used her acceptance speech to launch two pioneering new programs for women at Maxus, ‘Walk the talk’ and ‘Mind the gap’.
A dedicated champion of women in the workforce, Lindsay Pattison attended the Ad Age Women to Watch awards in New York last night, which honoured inspirational female leaders from across the media industry.
During her speech she introduced plans for two new programs at Maxus that aim to help ambitious women reach their full potential.
The first, ‘Walk the Talk’, is a mentoring scheme which will allow our women in senior roles to coach the next generation in crucial skills such as networking, public speaking and judging panels, offering invaluable insight into the media industry.
The second, ‘Mind the gap’ will focus on best practice for equality in the workplace, including flexible working, maternity benefits and leave, and the opportunity to share childcare responsibilities with a partner.
As we as a company continue to push for equality across our workforce, we are proud to have our global CEO awarded alongside such a talented and inspirational group of women at the ceremony.
