Using influencers to help women embrace their summer bucket lists

Our goal was to shake old brand perceptions and establish Nair as a relevant hair removal solution for modern Millennials.

We found that when women have unwanted body hair, it affects their confidence and limits spontaneity, serving as a barrier to doing things they want to do or spending time with people they love. We wanted to change this, and drive confidence with a new generation of Nair users.

Change we navigated:

We found that when women have unwanted body hair, it affects their confidence and limits spontaneity, serving as a barrier to doing things they want to do or spending time with people they love. We wanted to change this, and drive confidence with a new generation of Nair users.

While women are constantly looking to improve their beauty/hair removal routines, they are fearful of bad experiences and rely on trusted influencers to ‘vet’ new products. We needed to show Millennials how easy/painless it was to use Nair and that Nair reveals beautiful skin that lasts, so you can be ready for anything.  

We developed the Summer Bucket List (SBL) activation encouraging women to embrace Summer with Nair, providing confidence to BE READY to complete their bucket list and positioning Nair as the secret to getting the most out of Summer – because when you have smooth, beautiful skin, you’re ready for anything.

We used YouTube influencers to bring the campaign to life, partnering with DEFY Media’s Clevver Beauty Break platform to launch their new Beauty Trippin’ series.  Our campaign included custom videos, leveraging Clevver and influencer social channels to boost reach and engagement, all with Nair front and center.
